Our Editorial & Medical Review Process
Aphasia Studio’s guides and exercises are created for people with aphasia and their families, and are grounded in speech-language pathology research and clinical practice. Here is how our content is produced and kept trustworthy.
- Written and reviewed by a licensed clinician. All clinical content is authored or reviewed by Lyda Dona, MS, CCC-SLP, a certified speech-language pathologist with 10+ years of aphasia experience.
- Evidence-based. Our exercises follow established approaches — Semantic Feature Analysis (SFA), VNeST, cueing hierarchies, and errorless learning.
- Reviewed and updated. Each guide carries a “last reviewed” date and is revised as evidence and our tools evolve.
- Not a substitute for care. Aphasia Studio supports — it does not replace — evaluation and treatment by a qualified speech-language pathologist. Please talk to your SLP or physician about your recovery plan.
