Every exercise has 4 levels.

Pick topics you care about: food, family, sports, music, and many more. You practice the same skill either way β the words just stay interesting.
The methods behind the exercises
These exercises are built on evidence-based methods that speech-language pathologists use:
- π Semantic Feature Analysis (SFA) β describing a word to help retrieve it
- π VNeST β building word networks around verbs
- π‘ Cueing hierarchies β hints that give just enough help, never too much
Research on practice amount β the RELEASE study (2022) β found that more hours of practice were linked with more improvement. Individual results vary.
Aphasia Studio exists for one reason: more practice, between therapy visits or after therapy ends.
Built by a speech-language pathologist
Aphasia Studio was created by Lyda Dona, a licensed SLP, so people with aphasia can practice as much as they want β at home, at their own pace.
