Lyda Dona, MS, CCC-SLP — Speech-Language Pathologist
Lyda Dona is a speech-language pathologist (MS, CCC-SLP) who has treated adults recovering from stroke and brain injury since 2013. She founded California’s first Intensive Comprehensive Aphasia Program (ICAP), where she saw both what intensive practice can do and how few families can access it.
She created Aphasia Studio to put evidence-based practice — Semantic Feature Analysis (SFA), VNeST, and cueing hierarchies — in the hands of people with aphasia between and beyond their clinic visits. Every clinical guide and exercise on Aphasia Studio is written or reviewed by Lyda.
