Practice nowThe Verb Connections exercise

Who it is used with

Start in Assist mode: listen to a sentence and say it.

How to use it

A verb appears

For example: cut. Every word and sentence can be tapped to hear it.

Build sentences with it

Pick who does it and what they do it to. In Expand, add where, when and why.

Read and recall

Read your sentences out loud, then pick the verb you practised. Five verbs make a set.

Modes

The 1 ยท 2 ยท 3 strip at the top switches the mode. Pick the tense from the menu on the card.

Assist

Hear a sentence, then say it and tap I said it. Three sentences, then tell how it felt.

Build

Who might do it? What might they do it to? Three sentences, then read them and recall the verb.

Expand

Build a sentence, then add where, when and why, and say the whole thing.

Ways to get through it
