Practice nowThe Sentence Builder exercise

Who it is used with

From "want coffee" to "I want a cup of coffee": putting words in order practises the small grammar words. Sentence building is often used with:

Start on Level 1: short sentences, no extra words.

How to use it

A picture appears

Tap it to hear the sentence.

Tap the words in order

Each tap fills the next slot. Tap a word in a slot to take it back.

Tap Check Answer

Right words stay; the others go back for another try. After 10 sentences the set is done.

Modes

One mode: build the sentence. Make it harder or easier with the level.

Build the sentence

Words are shuffled under the picture. Put them in order to say what the picture shows.

Ways to get through it

When the order will not come, there is help on the card.

Hint

Each tap puts the next right word in its slot. Tapping the picture plays the whole sentence.

Levels

Level 1 has short sentences. Higher levels have longer sentences and extra words that do not belong. Or leave it on Auto, which moves your level between sets.
